 HeatFlavourRatingScore
La Sabrosita Salsa Picante 6.0 5.0 7.5 5.74
An remarkably hot sauce intended for Mexican dishes. Good flavor and a lot of heat!

No Picture Iguana Red Moderately Hot 2.5 7.5 6.9 5.74
An interesting vinegary sauce that goes well on anything from vegetable dishes to pizza. This sauce has a lot of unique ingredients and as such it is not particularly versatile; it is best suited as an ingredient in dipping sauces or spread on foods during preparation.

Lousiana Chipotle (Brown Dot) 2.0 7.0 7.0 5.61
With a distinct Chipotle flavor this sauce imparts an excellent taste to foods without too much heat.

No Picture Habanero 'Louisiana' Hot Sauce 4.0 6.0 7.0 5.55
Best of the best. Louisiana sauce with a heck of a kick. Great anytime you're craving a hot sauce with great taste.

No Picture Chef Paul Prudhomme's Magic Pepper Sauce 2.1 6.2 7.0 5.42
It may not be magic but for a hot sauce it sure is tasty! A delicious, thick, sweet and tangy sauce with heaps of flavor and not too much heat, this is one of the best louisiana sauces i've ever tasted - and certainly one that is sure to pleasure the tastebuds. My only complaint is that I wasn't able to find it in a bigger bottle, I'd finished the one I had in 3 days!

Valentina Salsa Picante 4.7 5.2 7.0 5.41
A popular and delicious sauce from Mexico. A fairly thin sauce highly recommended for Mexican dishes. Pour on to burritos, enchiladas, nachos, fajitas, tacos.. Buy two bottles because it's not only inexpensive, it's awesome; and you'll go through it a lot quicker than you expect. When you're cooking those Mexican dishes, add liberally to your cooking for an authentic burst of flavor. Highly recommended!!

Bulliard's Louisiana Supreme 1.5 4.5 6.0 5.40
This general-purpose hot sauce is sold under many different names. It is a fairly thin, vinegary sauce with not much heat but definately some flavour. It's tangy but that's about it for heat, but the flavour is fairly good. It's best suited to fast food - burgers, fries and that genre. You can find this sauce sold under a number of different brand names, but this is the most readily available version. It's cheap at least, and it's alright, but certainly not fantastic. Bottom line: if you see it, try it out, it's better than nothing. But it's probably not worth buying.

Bufalo Chipotle 6.0 4.5 7.0 5.35
This sauce is exceptionally thick with a consistency similar to a good BBQ sauce. The chipotle flavour is distinct and apparent, but is overshadowed slightly by a mild mixture of caramel and salt overtones. The label advertises this sauce as "very hot", however, the heat will be considered quite mild by most chiliheads, allowing this sauce to be applied in liberal quantities to most foods. As this sauce is Mexican, it can be expected to compliment most Mexcian foods; however, it is a good choice for any meal with chicken or beef - in fact, it can be suitably used as a BBQ sauce. A good choice for most anything that you would BBQ, and it's usually very inexpensive, so if you see it, pick up a bottle. A good choice for amateur chiliheads!
