Hot Sauce Review

 HeatFlavourRatingScore
Tuong Ot Sriracha 6.5 9.5 8.8 7.62
Spicy, sweet, zesty and a hint of garlic; this sauce goes on thick and breaths new life into whatever it comes into contact with. Great for livening up burgers and fries; pastas, pizza and hot dogs. It tastes great, it's not overpowering, and just hot enough without going over the top. Delicious!!

Lingham's Chilli Sauce 2.0 8.5 8.0 7.52
Yum! Well, that summarizes it! This sauce is tasty! It's not very hot at all, but the flavor is outstanding. As a result, this sauce makes a great dip for pizza and spring rolls, but it tasts fantastic on most anything you can dump it on. It has quite a high sugar content and so it's very similar to most Asian chilli sauces. The main difference with this product seems to be the attention to quality - the packaging states "100% Red Chillies!" and the ingredients emphasize that it contains "no preservatives, artificial flavours, colouring matter or builking material", which is apparent in the taste. Excellent!

Pico Pica Hot Sauce 3.0 9.5 9.2 7.49
An extremely tasty sauce worthy of your finest dishes, serve on the table or liberally apply to foods during cooking. Highly recommended!

Frank's Red Hot Xtra Hot 8.0 7.0 7.5 7.45
Frank's Xtra Hot is a slightly spicy variation of Frank's Original, with the same tangy flavor. It's still not quite "Xtra Hot" as the label claims, making this a good table choice for guests or others with an unknown tolerance to spice.

Denzel's Colonel Corn 5.5 8.4 8.9 7.29
Denzel's Colonel Corn Roased Corn Chipotle hot sauce has a slightly sweet flavour and not too much heat that complements it's very unique and unusual taste. Apart from a slightly bitter aftertaste, this sauce is actually quite tasty and has a great deal of potential where other sauces just don't work. Try it out and see if you like it!

UPDATE: I have tried this sauce on pretty much everything, and it's growing on me! The flavour is there, but it's not in your face like many other sauces and thus must be appreciated on a different level than other sauces. This sauce performs better and better each time I try it; the corn adds a certain sweetness that complements the sour vinegar taste and the whole thing blends together well. If you're after something unusual and you're tired of trying the same thing all the time, give this one a taste. You might like it, you may not, but you'll certainly agree that it's different. The heat level is fairly low as well, which means that if you don't have an asbestos-lined tongue you'll probably be okay.

No Picture Bulliard's Louisiana Supreme Habanero Pepper Sauce 6.0 8.0 7.0 7.26
One of my favourites, this sauce qualifies as the hottest Louisiana I've had, and the tastiest. This sauce is absolutely delicious.

XXTra Hot Hbanero Pepper Sauce 7.5 8.2 8.5 7.23
The label reads "Maybe we've been sitting in the Carribean sun too long, but we think this is the best hot pepper sauce you'll ever taste". This isn't quite the best hot pepper sauce that I've ever tasted, but it's way up there. It's not as hot as it claims to be, but it's nice and thick with a lot of kick, lots of flavor and it goes great on just about anything. Awesome.

No Picture Pepe's Pepper Sauce 6.2 6.5 7.5 7.15
Good things come in small packages! This unique and highly flavorful sauce comes in a rather small bottle, but packs an amazing combination of taste and heat. Definately recommended!
